I Come From Laos

My favorite laptop bag maker just busted out with a case for the DS and its sweet.  They also added a ton other carry devices for various gadgets.  Kick ass.

Also reporting, Marmot just released something called the iGlove. Yes, I’m as sick as you of all this iCrap but bad name aside the gloves are sweet. They allow you to operate touch sensitive gadgets while keep your gloves on. Now that I reside in the frozen tundra with a touch sensitive cell phone these are a high need.

Valour (Voice Activated Laptops for OUR injured troops) From the website “Project Valour-IT, in memory of SFC William V. Ziegenfuss, provides voice-controlled laptop computers to wounded Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines recovering from hand and arm injuries or amputations at home or in military hospitals. Operating laptops by speaking into a microphone, our wounded heroes are able to send and receive messages from friends and loved ones, surf the ‘Net, and communicate with buddies still in the field without having to press a key or move a mouse.”

Child’s Play (Where gamer’s give back) As a gamer, I’m all about this one.  From the website, “Since 2003, gamers have banded together through registered Seattle-based charity, Child’s Play. Over a million dollars in donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children’s hospitals across North America and the world have been collected since our inception.”
